Garstang is not always blessed with the best of weather! We try and get out come rain or shine but will make a judgement call if there are adverse weather conditions forecast such as ice, snow or high winds.
GCC have decided to adopt the Cycling UK adverse weather policy which is outlined in the Club Adverse Weather Policy Document below.
The Club wishes to make it clear that it is the responsibility of each individual to decide whether to join a ride or not. No-one should feel any pressure to join a ride if they are not entirely comfortable riding in the prevailing conditions.
