Due to my lack of fitness I was a little apprehensive about this ride but decided as it was one of the flatter rides I would be ok to lead.
I initially thought we would average the lower pace of B2 but surprised my self as we averaged 13.4 mph.

Nine of us left the cobbles and headed South to Claughton and a loop around Beacon Fell passing through Whitechapel and then on to Broughton. Arriving at a packed out Roots for refreshments To find Phil Durrigan was already there, should have remembered not to say two slices of toast with my beans as the plate arrived at the table.
All Fed and watered we headed off to Treales and then North to Great Eccleston shortly after Karen Sienkiewicz left us to make her way home.
As we approached Catford Ian Gibson and Sarah Jane Gibson decided to take a different route home.
Phil Durrigan was the next to leave as we passed his front door.
Six of us continued on into the chilly headwind to Stake Pool and Ford Green before arriving back at Garstang.
Really enjoyed my first outing with the B2’s for a while thanks for the great company as usual.
