Newchurch in the centre of the Island.
The Isle of Wight is a great destination for cycling. Miles and miles of quiet lanes, enough hills to keep most riders happy, with lots of flat, traffic free routes too. And they have an annual Cycling Festival -

Just outside the small town of Limoux which is about 18 miles south of Carcassonne, in the sunny south of France.
Cheap Ryanair flights from Liverpool. Ideal location in the sunny south of France. Perfect cycling country close to Pyrenees or gentler hills close by.
Friendly, English hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible in their beautifull house set amongst vineyards. Transport can be arranged from Carcassonne airport for you and your bikes.
